The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Reddop - Reddit Opinion Disclaimer
Reddop is a Chrome extension that appends a short disclaimer at the end of each comment: "Disclaimer: This is my own personal opinion."
The purpose of the disclaimer is to keep reminding reddit users to take each comment with a grain of salt as it becomes easy to forget that each comment was written by another human being with flaws and biases.
Reddop therefore acts as a reality-checker that reminds users not to take any comment for granted and to stay critical while reading the opinions of other people online.
