Reddit Reranker

Reddit and Hacker News sort comments by upvotes. But upvotes reward being first and aligning with the echo chamber, not being informative or interesting. We analyzed 66 million comments across 2,147 subreddits and found that the best answer has 1 upvote 32% of the time, while the first comment gets 4x more karma regardless of quality. This extension re-sorts comments by relevance using ZeroEntropy's zerank-2 reranker model. One click and the most useful answers float to the top. Features: - Rerank comments by relevance on Reddit (old + new), and Hacker News - Multiple scoring modes: Relevant, Informed, Joke/Meta, Inflammatory, Actionable, or Custom - Color-coded relevance badges on every comment (yellow = low, blue = high) - Stats panel with relevance distribution histogram and karma-vs-relevance scatter plot - Sort by karma or restore original order - Keeps threaded replies grouped with their parent Requires a free ZeroEntropy API key from https://dashboard.zeroentropy.dev Built by ZeroEntropy. The reranker scores how well each comment actually answers the question — not how early it was posted or how funny it is.
