Reddit Comment Cleaner

Ever notice those weird hyperlinked keywords in Reddit comments? The ones with a tiny spyglass icon that link to Reddit's search page? Reddit quietly injects them into comment threads, turning normal words into search links nobody asked for. Reddit Comment Cleaner makes them disappear. ✨ Every time you open a Reddit page, the extension scans comment threads and strips out the injected search links, leaving behind the original clean text. No spyglasses, and no surprise redirects. Just comments, the way they were written, and meant to be read. In the extension popup you get to see exactly how many links were removed from your current page. We won't spoil exactly what happens to those pesky links, but let's just say the extension has a vocabulary, and none of the words are gentle. Open the popup and find out! # Features: - Removes Reddit's auto-injected search links from all comment threads - Works instantly on page load, plus catches any links added dynamically as you scroll - One-click pause and resume from the extension popup - Live count of links removed on the current page - Zero data collection. No analytics. No tracking. Nothing leaves your browser. Ever. - Lightweight. No background service worker. No network requests. - Open sourced: https://github.com/2xNeil/reddit-comment-cleaner # What this extension does NOT do: - It does not block ads - It does not modify any Reddit content other than the injected search links - It does not collect, store, or transmit any data whatsoever
