Reddit Auto Following Tab

Reddit Auto Following Tab is a lightweight, privacy-focused Chrome extension that automatically keeps you on your "Following" feed when browsing Reddit. What It Does: 1. Auto-selects "Following" tab on page load - Every time you visit reddit.com, the extension automatically clicks the "Following" tab so you see posts from communities you actually follow, not algorithmic recommendations. 2. Intercepts Reddit logo clicks - When you're on the homepage and click the Reddit logo (which normally takes you to "For You"), the extension intercepts that click and switches you to "Following" instead. Navigate freely on subreddits - the extension only interferes on the main homepage. 3. Persists across navigation - Whether you click the logo, use back/forward buttons, or navigate from your profile back to home, the extension detects the page change and re-applies your preference. Why Install It? - Reclaim your feed - Stop fighting Reddit's algorithm. See content from subreddits you deliberately chose to follow. - Save clicks - No more manually clicking "Following" every single time you open Reddit. - Seamless experience - Works automatically in the background. No settings, no configuration, no toolbar icon clutter. - Privacy-first - Zero data collection. No tracking, no analytics, no external requests. The extension runs entirely in your browser. - Tiny footprint - ~1KB content script. No background processes. No performance impact. Who This Is For: - Reddit users who prefer chronological "Following" feed over algorithmic "For You" - Anyone annoyed by Reddit resetting their tab preference - Power users who navigate between profile/subreddits and want consistent behavior - Privacy-conscious users who want a simple utility without data collection
