The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Reconce
Reconce helps you record browser workflows and turn them into clear step-by-step documentation.
Start a recording, complete your process normally, and Reconce captures the relevant interactions and screenshots needed to build a structured guide.
You can review and edit the generated steps before exporting or sharing them.
What you can do with Reconce
• Record browser-based workflows
• Generate step-by-step guides with screenshots
• Capture before and after states for important actions
• Record walkthrough videos
• Add captions, click sounds and camera framing to videos
• Adjust video playback speed before export
• Redact sensitive areas from screenshots and videos
• Flag issues while recording
• Export guides as PDF, HTML or Markdown
• Export composed WebM walkthrough videos
• Continue supported workflows across related browser tabs
Reconce is useful when you need to document a browser process, explain how something works, prepare internal instructions, create training material, or capture a reproducible sequence of actions.
Privacy
Recorded guides, screenshots and videos are stored locally on your device and are not automatically uploaded.
Reconce may connect to its backend for optional account authentication, installation registration and subscription status. Recorded workflow content is not uploaded as part of these requests.
Typed form values are not stored as structured workflow data. However, screenshots and recordings may contain information visible on the page, so you should review and redact sensitive information before sharing.
Reconce only records a browser tab after you explicitly start or continue a recording.
