About RealESALetter: Best ESA Letter for Your Pet – Fast, Trusted & Calculator
RealESALetter.com connects you with therapists licensed in your state to determine whether you qualify for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letter or a Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD) letter. This free extension is the companion toolkit for the website — it brings helpful information and tools into a simple popup so you can understand your options before you apply.
What you can do in the extension:
• Learn how an ESA and a PSD differ, who qualifies, and which one fits your situation.
• Compare letter options and pricing at a glance.
• Estimate your savings with a pet-rent calculator that shows how an accommodation can offset pet rent and deposits.
• Look up the rules that apply in your state, with links to official pages.
• See how the 2021 Department of Transportation rule affects traveling with an assistance animal.
• Get plain-English answers about housing rights under the federal Fair Housing Act.
How it works:
1. Take a quick, free screening to see if you may qualify.
2. Connect with a licensed therapist in your state for an evaluation.
3. If you qualify, receive your letter — typically within 24 hours.
Why install it:
The reference tools work right inside the popup, so you can research housing rules, travel rules, and potential savings without hunting through pages. When you are ready, links open RealESALetter.com to begin.
This extension provides general information and tools and is not legal or medical advice. It is not affiliated with any government agency, and eligibility is always determined by a licensed mental health professional.
