The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ReadLater
ReadLater is a minimal reading queue for Chrome.
When you find something worth reading but don't have time, save it with one click or Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S on Mac). ReadLater stores the page on your device and helps you come back to it: what to read next, how long it takes, and where you left off.
What it does:
- Save any page via the toolbar button, right-click menu, or keyboard shortcut
- Save highlighted text, and see it highlighted again when you return
- Detect duplicates so you never save the same page twice
- Estimate reading time and track progress, so you can continue where you left off
- Suggest what to read next with simple on-device rules
- Filter by available time: 5, 10, 20, or 30+ minutes
- Add notes, tags, and categories; search everything; archive finished reads
- Export your library as JSON or delete everything at any time
Privacy:
- No accounts, no cloud, no analytics, no tracking
- The extension makes no network requests; your library never leaves this browser
- Works fully offline
