The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Reactify - Reactions Layer
Title
HypeLayer – Reactions Layer
Summary
Add lightweight reactions and mini-threads on any webpage, then share links that open the same highlighted reaction.
Description (paste this)
HypeLayer adds a social reaction layer on top of websites you browse.
With HypeLayer, you can:
Post quick reactions directly on the current page
Add emoji responses and short threaded replies
Copy share links to specific reactions
Open a shared link and jump to the exact highlighted reaction
Keep your own reaction history in one place
Why install HypeLayer?
It makes page-level discussion fast and lightweight
You can react in context without switching apps
Shared links bring people to the same page state instantly
How it works:
HypeLayer injects an overlay UI into pages you visit. Reactions are synced so they can be viewed and shared across sessions.
Permissions used:
storage: saves local extension state and preferences
host permissions: required to render the overlay and reactions on pages
Notes:
Some websites may restrict embedding behavior due to their own security policies. In those cases, HypeLayer still supports opening the original page and highlighting the targeted reaction.
