About RapportA11y — accessibility PDF report

Since 28 June 2025, the European Accessibility Act requires websites selling goods or services to European consumers to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA, through the EN 301 549 standard. RapportA11y produces, in one click, the document you can hand to your client: what is wrong with the page, and which requirement of the standard each issue maps to. WHAT IT DOES • Analyses the open page with axe-core, the most widely used open-source accessibility engine. • Shows the number of issues by severity straight away. • Generates a PDF report ready to send. THE REPORT • Written in French — titles, descriptions and remediation steps. Over eighty rules described, rather than English strings copied verbatim. • Every issue is mapped to its WCAG 2.1 success criterion and to the matching EN 301 549 requirement (for example: criterion 1.4.3 Contrast Minimum, requirement 9.1.4.3). • The RGAA 4.1 criteria covering the same subject are listed for guidance. Note: RGAA is an audit method whose tests largely require human judgement. This extension does not verify RGAA conformance and makes no claim about any of its criteria; it only tells you where to look in the framework. • Separates regulatory failures from mere best practices. The latter are not counted as non-conformities, so your client will not discover that the headline figure was inflated. • For each issue: the HTML snippet and the full CSS selector, ready for your developer to copy as-is. • Carries your branding: your agency's logo, name and contact details. YOUR DATA NEVER LEAVES YOUR COMPUTER The extension makes no network requests whatsoever. No data is collected, transmitted or analysed. The analysis engine, the PDF generator and the fonts are bundled inside the extension. There is no account, no server and no usage tracking. The extension only accesses a page when you click its icon, and only that page. WHAT THIS IS NOT Automated analysis covers only part of the accessibility criteria. Whether a text alternative is meaningful, whether the reading order makes sense, whether the page is genuinely usable with a keyboard — these require human review. The report is therefore not a certificate of conformity, and says so explicitly. It is a record of detected issues: a starting point for an audit, or an argument for selling one. WHO IT IS FOR Web agencies, freelance developers and integrators who look after several client sites and have to account for their accessibility. Analysis engine: axe-core (Deque Systems), licensed under MPL 2.0.
