Rap Lyrics Writing Assistant - Try SC Booth

Try SC Booth is a free rap writing assistant and creative toolkit for rappers and artists that works directly inside SoundCloud. If you use SoundCloud to find beats, freestyle, write rap lyrics or develop song ideas, Try SC Booth gives you a dedicated workspace alongside the music you're listening to. When browsing and listening to music on SoundCloud, Try SC Booth adds a lightweight creative panel to the side of the page, giving you tools to capture ideas, write lyrics, record vocals, discover similar beats, and develop songs without constantly switching between different apps. Try SC Booth is designed around a simple idea: when you find a beat that inspires you, the tools you need to start writing a rap song should already be there. Whether you're learning how to write rap lyrics, struggling with rap writer's block, trying to develop a hook, or simply want somewhere to capture an idea while listening to a beat, Try SC Booth helps you move from finding a beat to actually crafting a song. • 📝 Scratchpad – Write hooks, verses, rap lyrics and song ideas while listening to SoundCloud. Your notes are saved locally for the track. • 🎙️ Acapella Recorder – Record yourself rapping, freestyling or testing vocal ideas directly through your microphone and download your recordings. • ⏱️ Tap Tempo BPM – Tap along with the track to quickly estimate its BPM and better understand the rhythm you're writing over. • 🎧 Similar Beats – Try SC Booth analyses the context of the SoundCloud track you're viewing and can surface relevant beat collections, helping you discover more beats to rap over. • 💡 Rap Idea Generator – Generate structured rap ideas, concepts, writing angles and starting points when you're struggling to decide what to rap about. Use the ideas as inspiration and then develop the song in your own voice. • 🗣️ Voice-to-Text Transcription – Speak lyrics, freestyle ideas or rough concepts and turn them into text that can be added directly to your scratchpad. • 🤖 Optional AI Assist – Use your own OpenAI API key to work with lyrics from your scratchpad. Tools include tightening rhymes, improving flow, experimenting with multisyllabic rhymes, upgrading punchlines and creating hook variations. • 🎁 Resources for Rappers – Access additional songwriting and music marketing resources from inside the extension. A rap song assistant — not a replacement for the rapper Try SC Booth is designed to help with the creative process rather than write an entire rap song for you. You remain in control of the lyrics, subject matter, flow, delivery and final song. The idea-generation and optional AI tools are there to give you starting points, explore alternatives and help you work through moments when you're stuck. Think of it as a rap songwriting workspace built into SoundCloud: find a beat, start writing, test a flow, record an idea, develop your lyrics and keep working until the song starts taking shape. If you've ever searched for how to write a rap song, how to write rap lyrics, rap song ideas, help with rap writer's block, or beats to rap over, Try SC Booth brings those parts of the creative process together while you're already listening to music. Built to stay out of your way Try SC Booth is not a separate popup. The toolkit appears directly alongside SoundCloud and uses collapsible sections, so you can open only the tools you need and collapse everything else. Your scratchpad content and OpenAI API key are stored locally in your browser. AI features are completely optional and require your own API key. Try SC Booth is built for rappers, songwriters and independent artists who already use SoundCloud to find beats, write rap lyrics, overcome writer's block, capture ideas and develop new songs. Find a beat. Catch the idea. Write the song.
