Pulse Drivers

Pulse Drivers helps taxi company staff review driver signup documents directly from Google Chrome. Sign in using your existing Pulse Drivers company ID, email and password to access your company’s document inbox. Pulse Drivers branding appears alongside your company’s logo and name. DOCUMENT ALERTS • A toolbar badge shows how many documents are awaiting review. • Optional desktop notifications alert you when new documents arrive. • Background checks run approximately once per minute while Chrome is running. DOCUMENT REVIEW • Open a review side panel alongside your current webpage, or use a separate review tab. • View uploaded images and PDFs alongside the information supplied by the driver. • Open full documents, with zoom controls for images. • Review DVLA driving licences, private hire driver licences, insurance certificates, private hire vehicle licences and permission letters. • Approve documents, reject them with a reason, or amend submitted information. • Review decisions are shared with the company portal and driver status page. Drivers can see rejection reasons and upload replacements. INSURANCE AND PERMISSION LETTERS • Confirm whether an insurance certificate shows the vehicle registration. • Request a permission letter when required. This places the insurance certificate on hold and instructs the service to email the driver. • Approve the permission letter before returning to the insurance certificate for a separate approval. COMPANY ACCESS AND SETTINGS • Access is restricted to your own company’s records. • Your company administrator controls which staff can use the extension. • Sign-in stays saved for 30 days and renews during active use. • Existing two-factor authentication is supported where enabled. • Settings provides notification preferences, sign-out and account switching. REQUIREMENTS An existing Pulse Drivers staff account with extension access enabled and an internet connection are required. Background checks and notifications operate while Chrome is running. PRIVACY The extension does not read or modify other websites you visit or collect your browsing history. Passwords and uploaded document files are not saved in extension storage. Company data is accessed through authenticated HTTPS requests to the Pulse Drivers service.
