The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Pug Off
A weird little pug with a useful appetite.
Click Clean page and watch it walk over to clearly marked ads, sponsored cards, and ad pop-ups, plant its paws, and chew them away. Their space stays in place, so the article keeps its layout. Picture replacement fills cleared spaces with a randomly shuffled collection of 62 local DAWGGIE pictures.
The paws make brief word squashes, tilts, stretches, and little neon boxes. Choose four legs or spider pug's eight. Click the pug for four simple commands: Clean page, Summarize page, Stay here, and Follow me. More options include manual feeding, cookie-banner hiding, captures, and motion settings.
Summarize page prepares a local report of up to five quoted sentences from the loaded article. Right-click selected text to capture it or temporarily hide it. Reports and captures stay in the browser session and clear when the tab closes.
Undo brings a bite back. Restore everything and Put pug away restore the page. Paw effects are optional, and reduced motion is supported.
Pug Off runs on a tab you explicitly launch it on. It has no account, telemetry, external summarization service, remote code, or per-use fee. Website content and pointer interactions are handled locally for the features you choose.
This is cosmetic page cleanup. Clearly marked clutter is found automatically; missed items can be fed manually. Forms, editable fields, navigation, ordinary video players, and consent modals are protected. Optional cookie-banner hiding does not change consent. Chrome pages and the Chrome Web Store are restricted. The extension does not block network requests or prevent trackers from loading.
Pug Off replaces the earlier PugPwn game with this local page companion.
