Provetag: Tracking Plan QA

Check your GA4/GTM implementation against your tracking plan, then share the results with your client. Provetag is a Chrome extension for tracking consultants and small teams. Import a CSV plan from Sheets or Excel, run the customer journey, and compare each rule with the GA4 events and dataLayer pushes observed in your browser. FREE AND PRO Free includes live event inspection, duplicate-hit warnings, filters and JSON export. Your first tracking-plan import starts a 7-day Pro trial. Pro includes plan validation and standalone HTML QA reports. After the trial, these features require a $39 USD one-time individual license, usable in up to 3 browsers. CLEAR RESULTS FOR EACH RULE • Passed: an observed event satisfies the complete rule. • Failed: a matching event was observed, but a required check failed. • Not observed: no matching event appeared during the captured journey. Check event names, GA4/dataLayer source, required parameters, Measurement ID and page URL conditions. Export an HTML report with the results and captured evidence. Your client can open it without installing Provetag. GET STARTED Install Provetag, import your CSV, click the toolbar icon and confirm Start capture. Reload the page to include its initial load, complete the journey, then review and export your results. CLIENT DATA STAYS IN YOUR BROWSER Tracking plans and captured analytics data remain local. Capture requires your explicit action and stops when you change domains. No Provetag account is required. Pro license activation and validation use Polar. No captured analytics payload is sent to Polar. LIMITS Top-level browser journeys only. Cross-origin iframes, browser-invisible server-side events, scheduled monitoring and team collaboration are not supported.
