Fix your writing without leaving the page. Select a sentence in any text field, press Alt+P, and Proofline opens beside the field with a corrected version — streaming in, word by word. It shows you a word-level redline of exactly what changed. Press Replace and the fixed text lands in the field you were already typing in. There is no subscription and no sign-up, because there is no server on our side to sign up to: your text goes from your browser straight to the provider you chose and back. Nothing reaches the developer — not your text, not your key, not the fact that you ran it. Proofline asks for permission to a site the first time you actually use it there, and you can grant a single domain instead of all of them. ——————— WHAT IT CANNOT DO ——————— Google Docs is not supported. Docs draws text on a canvas rather than in a text field, so there is nothing for an extension to read or replace. Everywhere else — webmail, chat and comment boxes, CMS fields, editors inside embedded frames, plain textareas — works.
