The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About PromptClick
PromptClick opens ChatGPT or Gemini with a prompt already typed in, so you skip the copy-paste step.
Two ways to trigger it:
Click a makeinfo.co/opengpt?prompt=... link in a Google Sheet. PromptClick catches the click, pulls the prompt out of the link, and opens it in ChatGPT or Gemini, filled in and (if you turn it on) sent automatically. Build these with a formula like =HYPERLINK("https://makeinfo.co/opengpt?prompt="&ENCODEURL(A2)) and a whole column of prompts becomes a column of one-click buttons.
Or highlight text on any website, right-click, and choose "Send selection to ChatGPT" (or Gemini). This one isn't limited to Sheets — it works on any page. Set a prefix and suffix once in the extension's settings, something like "Summarize this: " before and " in three bullet points" after, and every selection gets wrapped the same way from then on.
Prompts with quotes, line breaks, or other characters that break a Sheets formula can go through Base64 instead. There's a built-in tool for encoding them.
A few other things it does: switch between ChatGPT and Gemini from the popup or with Ctrl+Shift+A (Cmd+Shift+A on Mac), fall back to copying the prompt to your clipboard if it can't find the input box on the AI platform's page, and keep a running count of prompts sent so you can see it's actually being used.
No account, no sign-in, no server in between. Usage counts stay in your browser's local storage — nothing gets sent to makeinfo.co beyond the link you clicked.
Built for anyone keeping a library of reusable prompts in Google Sheets who's tired of retyping them.
