Privezap — Privacy for WhatsApp Web

🛡️ Ever had someone read your chats over your shoulder? Privezap adds a visual privacy layer to WhatsApp Web — use it at work, in class, during presentations or in public places without exposing anything to prying eyes. ⚠️ Independent extension. Not affiliated with, associated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta. FEATURES 🔒 Password or PIN lock • Elegant lock screen with clock and custom message • Locks by itself: on inactivity, tab switch or window minimize • Instant lock with Ctrl+Shift+L • Intruder protection: pauses after consecutive wrong attempts 🌫️ Smart blur • Blur names, photos, messages, media and previews — each one independently • Hover to reveal only what you want to see, when you want • Adjustable intensity per element • Toggle instantly with Ctrl+Shift+Y 🚨 Boss Key • Boss walked in? Ctrl+Shift+X instantly swaps the screen for a discreet notes page ⚙️ And more • Usage statistics (local, only you can see them) • Light and dark themes • In English, Portuguese and Spanish — detects your browser language automatically 🔐 REAL PRIVACY, NOT A PROMISE • 100% local: no data ever leaves your computer — there is no server to send it to • No analytics, no tracking, no sign-up • Your password is never stored: only a cryptographic hash (PBKDF2) • Lean code, no third-party libraries • Runs only on web.whatsapp.com — no access to other sites ℹ️ Transparency: the lock is a visual barrier inside the browser. It stops prying eyes, but it does not replace your operating system's session lock on shared computers. 💬 Question, problem or suggestion?
