Privaseer

Privaseer – Privacy Protection for Everyday Browsing Privaseer is a privacy-focused browser extension that helps you browse the web more safely. It works quietly in the background to block trackers, analyze cookie consent banners, generate disposable email addresses, and provide a clear privacy score for every website you visit. 🛡️ Real-Time Tracker Blocking: Privaseer automatically detects and blocks known third-party tracking scripts, analytics services, and advertising beacons before they can collect your browsing data. Blocked trackers are logged and counted in your dashboard so you can see exactly what was stopped. 🍪 Cookie Consent Banner Analysis: When a website displays a cookie consent banner, Privaseer scans it for deceptive design patterns such as missing reject buttons, hidden opt-out options, or manipulative button styling. If a problem is detected, the banner is visually highlighted on the page and a warning notification is displayed. If the banner is fair, Privaseer stays silent. 📧 Disposable Burner Email Generation: When you click on an email input field on any website, Privaseer offers to generate a unique, disposable email address. This burner address is automatically filled into the form, helping you avoid sharing your personal email with untrusted websites. Any emails sent to your burner address are automatically stripped of tracking pixels and securely forwarded to your real inbox. All generated addresses are saved and can be viewed, copied, or deleted from the dashboard. 📊 Privacy Score Dashboard: Privaseer calculates a privacy score based on the trackers blocked, the websites you visit, and the consent actions you take. The dashboard displays your current score, a breakdown of how it was calculated, weekly analytics, and actionable suggestions to improve your online privacy. Privacy-respecting alternatives are also suggested for popular services. How It Works: Once installed, Privaseer runs automatically on every website you visit. Open the extension popup at any time to view your privacy score, review the count of blocked trackers, check consent activity, configure your email forwarding settings, and manage your burner email addresses.
