About Preview Muter for YouTube

Are you tired of getting jump-scared by loud audio every time your mouse accidentally hovers over a YouTube thumbnail? Preview Muter for YouTube is a lightweight, simple extension that forces all YouTube inline preview videos to stay perfectly silent. The thumbnail video will still play visually so you can see what the video is about, but your eardrums will be protected! ✨ Features: • True Silence: Completely mutes the audio of hovering thumbnail previews on the YouTube homepage and search results. • Visuals Kept Intact: Previews still play the video, just without the sound. • Easy Toggle: Includes a beautiful, iOS-style glass morphism popup menu to quickly turn the muter ON or OFF. • Zero Setup: Install it and it works instantly. No accounts, no settings, no bloat. • Privacy First: We don't track you, read your history, or collect any data. The extension only runs on YouTube.com. Take back control of your browsing experience and enjoy a quieter YouTube!
