The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Prefer Markdown

This extension adds `text/markdown` to the beginning of your browser's default `Accept` HTTP header. Websites that support HTTP content negotiation may then return Markdown content instead of the usual HTML page. Notes: 1. Chrome does not have a built-in Markdown renderer. If a website honors the `text/markdown` preference, Chrome will display the raw Markdown as plain text. This is also the quickest way to verify that the extension is working. 2. The extension only affects websites that respect this header. 3. To learn more about the `text/markdown` HTTP header, and test the extension, visit https://acceptmarkdown.com/, or our homepage: https://browsernative.com/accept-markdown-http-header/ Extension by BrowserNative: https://browsernative.com/accept-markdown-http-header/ Not affiliated with AcceptMarkdown.com
