About PP Vault - Picture Password Vault

A vault protected by a picture password nobody can watch you type. Two-factor codes (2FA), logins, notes, files, photos, music and video, in folders you name and colour, kept encrypted in this browser and nowhere else. Free to use, with PP Vault Pro for a few extras. Passwords are typed in public. In an office, in a café, on a shared screen, in front of whoever happens to be looking. A picture password is not typed at all. Characters float over a picture you chose; you drag the grid until your character sits on your spot, and let go. The grid reshuffles every time, so watching one unlock teaches nothing about the next. WHAT IT HOLDS • Two-factor codes. Scan the QR code from a screenshot, or paste the link or secret. • Logins, filled into the page you are on with one click. The vault checks the page's address first and fills nothing anywhere else. • Notes, files, photos and video, with a player for music and recordings. • Folders for each kind of thing, each with its own lock if you want one. WHERE IT LIVES Everything is encrypted and kept in your browser. There is no account to make and no server to trust: the extension is not allowed to reach the internet at all, so nothing you put in it can leave by itself. There are no ads. BACKING UP One encrypted file holds every vault. Your written-down recovery words open it anywhere, in this browser or in PP Vault on Android and iPhone; a passkey and your picture password open it in this browser. PP Vault reminds you once your last backup is a week old, and with Pro it saves one to your Downloads folder by itself whenever the vault opens and one is due. FREE AND PRO Everything above is free, with no trial and no time limit. A free picture password is made on one of five built-in pictures, and files can be up to 25 MB each. PP Vault Pro is one payment, not a subscription, and adds: • Your own photo as your picture password • Photo and video editing, saved as a copy • Automatic backup • Files over 25 MB Pro is bought at www.ppvault.app/pro in USDC or USDT, with no email, name or account. The licence is made out to your vault's id and checked by the extension itself, offline, so buying it changes nothing about the extension staying off the internet. A backup restored on another computer keeps the same id, so the same licence works there too. Nothing Pro opens is ever taken back: a picture you chose and files you stored keep working whatever happens to the licence. WHAT IT ASKS FOR It reads a page only when you click Fill, to put your login into that page. It saves backups to your Downloads folder. It opens in Chrome's side panel so it sits beside the page you are signing in to. Chrome lists access to www.ppvault.app because that is the domain its backup passkey belongs to, the same one the phone apps use; it never reads or changes that site. PP Vault is also on Android and iPhone, and a backup made on any of them opens on the others with your recovery words. https://www.ppvault.app
