PineBag · Pine Script Portfolio Backtest for TradingView

PineBag is a portfolio backtest tool for TradingView. Run one Pine Script strategy on dozens of tickers in a single batch and get one report for the whole portfolio and for every symbol. TradingView's Strategy Tester shows one ticker at a time. Checking a strategy on 20 stocks or 50 crypto pairs means switching symbols by hand and copying numbers into a spreadsheet. PineBag runs that batch backtest for you, right in your own TradingView tab. HOW IT WORKS • Load a .pine file with strategy(), or write Pine Scripts in the built-in editor with syntax highlighting. • Fill the bag with tickers: press "+" in TradingView's symbol search, or paste a list of EXCHANGE:SYMBOL. Stocks, crypto, forex, futures and indices all work. • Press Run. The strategy is backtested on each ticker in turn, with live progress. • Timeframe, capital, order size and commission come from the script or from the strategy's Properties on the TradingView chart. PORTFOLIO REPORT • One PnL curve for the whole portfolio, with each ticker's contribution. • Net profit, max drawdown, profit factor, win rate and expectancy for the portfolio and for every ticker. • A ticker table that shows where the strategy makes money and where it loses it. • Filters by ticker, Long/Short, period or custom dates. • Performance analysis, trades analysis and periodical PnL by week, month, quarter or year. • Export of the full Strategy Tester report as JSON and of filtered trades as CSV. • Report history: every batch backtest keeps the Pine Script version it tested. WHO IT IS FOR Traders who write Pine Scripts and want to know whether a strategy holds up across a portfolio, not just on the one chart it was tuned on. Use it to screen a watchlist, compare markets and catch overfitting before trading live. The interface is available in all 20 TradingView languages. REQUIREMENTS Chart history works on any TradingView plan (up to 5,000 bars); an exact date range through Deep Backtesting needs TradingView Premium or higher. --- PineBag is an independent tool, not affiliated with TradingView.
