About PinboardShot Browser Capture
Capture a long web page locally as a PNG, or open it in PinboardShot on your Mac.
Start from the extension toolbar or its keyboard shortcut. The extension captures the active HTTP or HTTPS page in viewport sections and restores the page afterward.
Standalone capture: if a compatible Mac app connection is unavailable before capture starts, the extension joins the sections in browser memory and saves a PNG through Chrome. Use your configured download location, or select “Choose save location” in the panel. No Mac app or account is required for this mode.
Mac app integration: when connected, image sections are sent through Chrome Native Messaging to PinboardShot on the same Mac for assembly and editing. Configure the connection in App Settings → General → Chrome Web Capture.
Pause and resume, stop to save the captured portion, or cancel to discard an unfinished capture. Screenshot processing stays local; the extension does not upload screenshots, page URLs, or titles to a PinboardShot server. The panel supports English and Chinese.
Requires Chrome 116 or later. Ordinary HTTP and HTTPS pages whose main document scrolls are supported. Browser-protected pages and independently scrolling regions are not supported. Standalone output is limited to 32,767 physical pixels per edge and 32 million pixels in total. Very long or changing pages may reach capture limits or fail.
