PicBrewery — Image Size & Speed Analyzer

PicBrewery scans every image on the page you are viewing and shows how much faster the page could load with lighter, properly sized images. WHAT YOU GET • Page score (A+ to F) based on image weight and optimization potential • Breakdown of total image size, problematic images, and estimated savings • Speed impact estimates for 3G, 4G, and Wi‑Fi connections • On-page overlays highlighting images that can be improved • Full report with filters, previews, and CSV export • One-click Optimize — send up to 20 images to PicBrewery.com for compression and format conversion HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any website and click the PicBrewery icon. 2. The extension scans images on the current page. 3. Review the score, savings estimate, and recommendations. 4. Optionally open the full report or send selected images to PicBrewery to optimize them. SMART ANALYSIS • Detects oversized images (larger than their display size) • Flags heavy PNG/JPEG files that could be WebP or AVIF • Skips ads, trackers, and embed widgets so results focus on your site content • Shows per-image recommendations: resize, convert format, or compress FREE & PRIVATE • No account required to scan pages • Scan results are stored locally in your browser session and expire automatically • Optional site access is requested only when you click “Grant access” — needed to fetch file sizes when the page does not expose them • Image URLs are sent to PicBrewery.com only when you choose to optimize images Built by the team behind PicBrewery.com — a free online image optimizer for JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF.
