Read real articles in the language you're learning, and understand every word without leaving the page.
Click any word for a full entry: what it means here, its gender and article, its plural, the infinitive if it's a verb, and an example sentence with a translation. Select a phrase to have it translated and broken down, or ask a question about it in plain English.
Tap Save and the word joins your Pennwald word list, ready to practise.

BUILT TO LEAVE THE PAGE ALONE
Pennwald never modifies the page you're reading, wraps words in markup, or injects anything into the text. Links keep navigating, buttons keep working, and the site behaves exactly as it did — lookups happen on the words, not on anything you might want to click.
WHAT IT READS
Only the word you click or the passage you select. Not the pages you visit, not your browsing history, not the rest of the page.
