About PawPlay: Pixel Pets for YouTube
PawPlay puts a small pixel pet on the progress bar of regular YouTube videos and live streams. During a live stream, the pet follows the visible player position, but live viewing does not earn pet experience (XP) or coins. Shorts and embedded players are not supported.
Open the popup for a pocket pet you can name and pet. Each pet keeps its own level and active watch time, walks during playback, sleeps on pause, unlocks new gestures, and grows through baby, explorer, and companion stages. The Little Adventures map shows milestones already earned from that same level progress and your decoration collection. It does not add a separate reward system.
The free version includes 3 pets and 3 progress bar styles. You can keep YouTube's standard bar thickness or choose 8 px or 12 px. Earn one local game coin for every five minutes of qualifying active watch time, plus level bonuses, then spend coins on scarves, bows, crowns, trails, stars, and hearts. Coins cannot be bought with money. There is no hunger, death, daily streak, or lost progress for taking a break.
PawPlay Plus is an optional one-time $1.99 purchase on Ko-fi. It adds 10 pets and 5 progress bar styles. Purchase and key delivery happen outside the extension. Key verification works offline, and PawPlay stores only a local activation status, not the key. Keep the key separately for reinstalling or moving to another Chrome profile.
Progress and settings save automatically in Chrome storage on this device. You can also save and restore a progress backup file; Plus activation is separate from that backup. PawPlay requests only Chrome's storage permission. It has no account, ads, automatic analytics or telemetry, or developer-operated server. Ko-fi and Google Forms open only when you choose their links. PawPlay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
