PatrolPost

PatrolPost saves the social media posts, images and videos you are browsing as files on your own computer, and organizes the posts you have viewed, locally. Supported platforms Threads is enabled by default, and 7 other popular social platforms are supported; see the full list at https://elongma.tech/patrolpost/ . For the other platforms, click "Enable" in the PatrolPost popup or dashboard and accept Chrome's permission prompt first; only then does PatrolPost work on that site. Main features - Single-post download: a PatrolPost download button next to each post lets you download everything, media only or text only. Some platforms have extra options, such as Stories and Highlights, HD profile pictures, compatible (SD) videos, original images, GIFs, music and covers. - Batch download: pack the posts already loaded on the page (the ones you have scrolled to) into one ZIP file. You can pick posts and cancel at any time. Board pages on some platforms are the exception: the items on the board are read directly, without scrolling (up to 50). Platforms other than Threads have a post limit per batch (20 to 50 posts) and a conservative delay between requests. - Output formats: Markdown, JSON, HTML, plain text and CSV, with a customizable file name template. Files are saved in a PatrolPost folder inside your Downloads folder. - Library: posts you downloaded are listed on the dashboard. Search them, filter by platform and date, delete several at once, export them again in any format, and export or import backup files. - Post Patrol: the side panel ranks the posts you have viewed on the page by engagement speed, post time and keywords, and exports them as CSV, JSON, Markdown or TSV (available on Threads and 4 other platforms). - AI agent access (sponsor unlock, off by default): once on, the AI tool you use can list, read and download posts through an interface on the page, and scroll the page to load more posts. It never posts, comments or likes. The interface is open on every tab of an enabled platform until you turn it off, and any script on those tabs (including the website itself) can use it. PatrolPost asks you to confirm before turning it on. - Interface languages: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English and Japanese, following Chrome's language by default. Privacy PatrolPost has no server of its own, does no analytics or tracking, and never sends your data to the developer or any third party. Settings, the library and Post Patrol records stay in your browser. PatrolPost only sends requests to platforms you have enabled and their media servers, to read the posts and media you want to save; these requests may carry your existing login state for that platform. On first install PatrolPost opens a page explaining how it handles data; you can open it again from "Data & privacy" on the dashboard. Batch downloading a lot in a short time may make a platform ask you to verify your account; when a platform rate-limits or asks for verification, PatrolPost pauses that platform, does not retry automatically, and never tries to get around it. - PatrolPost is an independent tool.
