PasteProof

PasteProof helps you verify that information copied from one place was entered correctly somewhere else. It provides a quick second check for important values before you submit a form, send information or complete a task. To use PasteProof, capture selected text or the value of a focused field. After entering it at the destination, verify the current field with one click. PasteProof reports an exact match, formatting-equivalent match, uncertain comparison or mismatch. PasteProof can compare common text, numbers, currencies, dates, email addresses, phone numbers and identifiers. Why install PasteProof? • Catch accidental copying and typing mistakes • Check important values without comparing them manually • Compare values across different tabs and websites • Keep captured information temporary and local to your browser • Automatically block passwords, OTPs, payment-card details and common secret tokens • Make comparisons without sending captured values to an external server PasteProof is useful when completing online forms, transferring business information or entering important details where a small mistake could cause a problem.
