About Paste for LinkedIn
Copy it. Paste it. Keep going.
Paste for LinkedIn adds image and video-file paste to the desktop LinkedIn post composer. Copy a screenshot, an image, or a video file, click inside your post’s text box, and press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac).
A small loading indicator stays over the text editor while LinkedIn prepares the attachment. The extension advances the media preview and returns your cursor to the caption. You can keep writing, edit the attached media with LinkedIn’s normal controls, and decide when to publish. The extension never clicks Post.
• Paste screenshots and images, including several photos at once.
• Add more photos with another paste.
• Paste one video file at a time.
• Keep normal text and link paste.
Privacy: pasted media is passed to LinkedIn’s existing upload control and may be uploaded immediately, before you publish. No media or usage data is sent to the extension developer. No analytics, ads, background clipboard access, separate account, or persistent storage. The extension works only on www.linkedin.com.
A LinkedIn account is required. Refresh open LinkedIn tabs after installing. The current desktop composer in English is tested; comments, messages, and articles keep their normal behavior. LinkedIn’s file type and upload limits still apply. Your browser and source app must put actual media files on the clipboard: copying a video URL pastes the URL, not the video. Mac clipboard sources have not yet been verified on a Mac. If LinkedIn changes its interface or a preview cannot finish, use its normal media editor.
Free to use. Independent software, not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
