Your passwords are not. PRIVACY The only permission this extension asks for is storage, and the only thing it stores is which options you picked. There is no network access of any kind — no account, no sync service, no analytics, no tracking. Generated passwords live in the popup and are gone the moment you close it. HOW THE RANDOMNESS WORKS Passwords are drawn from crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographically secure generator, seeded by the operating system from hardware entropy. Characters are picked using rejection sampling, so no character is even slightly more likely to appear than another — the shortcut most generators take introduces a small bias that this one avoids. Every character type you tick is guaranteed to appear at least once, and the result is shuffled afterwards so those characters do not sit in predictable positions. If a setting cannot be honoured — asking for four character types in a three-character password, or excluding every digit while numbers are still ticked — you get told exactly what the conflict is. The extension never quietly hands back a weaker password than the one you asked for.
