The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ParkourNote
ParkourNote is a personal knowledge workspace: papers, PDFs, web articles, videos and recordings sit in one library, with notes, annotations and AI chat beside them. This extension brings what you are reading in Chrome into it.
Ask about the page you are on
Open the side panel on any page and ask a question about it. Select a passage first and the panel quotes it. The first message also saves the page to your ParkourNote library, so the conversation and its source stay together.
Clip web pages
An ordinary page is saved as a readable article with its images and equations kept (KaTeX, MathML, MathJax and LaTeXML formulas are preserved). A small PN pill on each page offers Clip, or Import on paper pages; you can hide it per site.
Import papers and PDFs
• arXiv pages and publisher pages that expose standard scholarly metadata are imported as papers.
• A PDF open in Chrome's viewer is sent with the access your browser already has, where the publisher permits it.
• Local PDFs work after you turn on "Allow access to file URLs" in the extension's details in Chrome.
Timestamped notes on video
On YouTube and Bilibili watch pages, the panel takes notes and answers questions about the moment on screen. Each note carries the pinned time and a frame of the player, and everything lands on the same video in your library.
Good to know
• A ParkourNote account is required. Sign in from the panel; the extension never asks for or stores your password.
• AI features use ParkourNote credits. See the website for current plans.
• The extension does not bypass paywalls or publisher restrictions, and not every site exposes a usable PDF link.
• Browser uploads are capped at 1 GiB; server-side URL imports have a separate 50 MiB limit.
• Only pages you choose to save or ask about are sent to ParkourNote. The extension does not collect your browsing history, passwords or publisher cookies.
