About Param Toggle: Sticky URL Parameters for Testing
Stop retyping ?debug=true after every click.
Param Toggle keeps your testing URL parameters on while you browse: debug flags, test variants, feature flags, cache busters, locale overrides. Save each one once, check a box, and every page you open on that site gets it, until you uncheck it.
CHECK A BOX, IT STAYS ON
• Checked flags are added to every page on their sites: links, redirects and typed addresses. Your server sees them on the very first load.
• In single page apps, the parameter is put back into the address bar after each route change, so reloads and copied links keep it.
• The toolbar icon turns blue with a count on tabs where flags are on, and a small label in the page corner shows what is on, so a forgotten flag is never mistaken for a bug. Click it to move it to the other corner, or turn it off.
BUILT FOR TEAMS
• One flag, several values: switch variant between A, B and control in one click.
• Subscribe to a shared team list at any link (a JSON file in your repo or wiki). Everyone gets the same flags and organizes them their own way: personal groups, hide the ones you don't use.
• Copy your list and import it anywhere.
FAST
• Parameters already in the address bar show up as one-click chips to save.
• Add a flag and it's on immediately.
• Pause everything with one switch without losing your checkmarks.
SCOPED AND PRIVATE
• Each flag only applies to the sites you list (staging.example.com, localhost, or * for every site).
• Wildcards: staging.acme.com/checkout* covers every checkout page; pr-*.acme.com covers every preview site.
• Need a flag on a site outside its list? "Use here" keeps it on that site for the rest of the tab, through the whole flow. Close the tab and it's gone; nothing is saved.
• Chrome asks before the extension can touch a new site. Nothing is allowed at install.
• Team list on GitLab? Add a personal token and share your own flags with the team in one click (a commit, or a merge request when the branch is protected).
• No data is sent to us. No accounts, no servers, no analytics; the only download is a team list you choose.
FAQ
Page says "too many redirects"? That site removes the parameter and sends you back, so Param Toggle adds it again. Uncheck that flag or narrow its sites.
