About Paper Organizer
Paper Organizer is a reading log for researchers. Save the paper you're reading in one click, keep structured notes, and cite it later.
• One-click capture: title, authors, journal, year, volume, pages and DOI are read from the page (citation tags, Dublin Core, JSON-LD) and completed from Crossref. Works on arXiv, publisher sites, PubMed Central and most journals.
• Structured notes: a template for research question, method, key findings, limitations and relevance to your work. Highlight a sentence before clicking and it is saved as a quote.
• Tags and reading status (to read / reading / read), with search and filters.
• On-device AI summaries with Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano. The paper text never leaves your computer.
• Side panel mode keeps your notes open while you read.
• Copy citations in APA 7, GB/T 7714-2015 or BibTeX. Export BibTeX or CSV
• Reading statistics: papers added and finished each week, top tags and journals.
• Sync through your own OneDrive or Google Drive, or any synced folder. Daily snapshots are kept automatically.
• Private by design: no account with us, no servers, no analytics, no ads.
• English and Simplified Chinese interface.
Requirements: Chrome 138 or later. AI summaries need a computer that supports Chrome's built-in AI (about 22 GB of free disk space, and a GPU with more than 4 GB of memory or 16 GB of RAM). Everything else works on any computer.
