About Pali (Pāḷi) Easy Keyboard
Type Pāli diacritics anywhere on the web — without hunting for character pickers or switching keyboards.
Pāli Easy Keyboard & Shortcut lets you insert ā, ī, ū, ñ, ṅ, ṃ, ṁ, ḍ, ḷ, ṇ, ṭ, and ŋ with simple shortcuts, optional ITRANS sequences, or one-click insert from a pinned helper.
Perfect for students, translators, scholars, and anyone writing Pāli in browsers, forms, docs, and online editors.
FEATURES
• Keyboard shortcuts for all common Pāli characters
• Optional ITRANS mode — type aa → ā, ;n → ṅ, ;m → ṁ, and more
• Works in text fields, textareas, and contenteditable areas
• Quick-insert character bar and clickable shortcut guide
• Pin a draggable helper modal to the page while you write
• Zen Editor — a focused writing page opened from the popup
• Enable on all pages, or turn on only for the current tab
• Layout-friendly shortcuts for both Windows and macOS
