The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About PageSnap - Screenshot & Screen Recorder
PageSnap is a practical browser capture tool for creating screenshots and screen recordings directly from Chrome.
Capture an entire scrolling page, the visible area, or a specific section. After capturing, use PageSnap’s built-in editor to highlight important details, hide sensitive information, add notes, and prepare the result for sharing.
Capture webpages your way
PageSnap supports:
Full-page scrolling captures
Visible-area captures
Selected-area captures
Long webpages exported as one continuous image
Pages with internal scrolling areas
Improved handling of sticky and fixed page elements
PageSnap automatically processes and stitches full-page captures while restoring the webpage after the capture is complete.
Built-in annotation editor
Open a screenshot directly in PageSnap and add visual feedback without switching to another application.
Available tools include:
Text
Arrows
Lines
Rectangles
Ellipses and circles
Freehand drawing
Highlighting
Blur
Pixelation
Crop
Annotations can be moved, resized, duplicated, recoloured, or removed.
Multiple annotations can also be selected together using a selection area or Ctrl/Cmd-click and then moved, resized, or deleted as a group.
Editable text
Text remains editable after it has been added.
Select an existing text annotation and choose Edit text, or open it directly with the Text tool.
While editing:
Enter applies the text
Shift + Enter creates a new line
Escape cancels editing
Blur and pixelate sensitive information
Blur and Pixelate are shown directly inside the editor, allowing you to preview the actual effect before exporting.
The effect can still be selected, repositioned, and resized after it has been applied.
Advanced crop controls
Crop areas remain adjustable before export.
You can:
Resize from sides or corners
Move the crop area
View exact pixel dimensions
Use rule-of-thirds guides
Choose common aspect ratios
Copy or download the crop directly
Available ratios include Free, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, and 9:16.
