About Packetpane – API, Network & GraphQL Inspector

Packetpane intercepts fetch and XMLHttpRequest traffic from the page you're viewing and shows it live in Chrome's native Side Panel — no need to open DevTools. • Live request feed — method, status, millisecond timestamp, latency, and size for every request, sortable by any column, with automatic grouping of rapid duplicate/polling calls, a "By domain" grouped view, and newest-first ordering. • Console & error capture — uncaught JS errors, unhandled promise rejections, and console.error() calls show up as their own feed entries alongside network traffic, with a dedicated filter chip and full-text search. • Compare requests — select any two captured requests to see a structural diff of their headers, query params, and bodies side by side. • Smart error detection — a request with a 4xx/5xx status, a GraphQL error, or an error-shaped body on a 200 response is flagged automatically with a plain-language explanation, right where you're already looking. • Performance analyzer — latency percentiles (p50/p90/p99), the slowest and largest requests, a visual timeline, and detection of possibly-redundant repeated calls. • Load test — replay a captured request up to 100 times with configurable concurrency, delay, and timeout, to smoke-test how an endpoint holds up under a short burst — with live progress, a stop control, and a results breakdown (latency stats, status codes, failure reasons). • Saved requests — save a request's method/URL/headers/body into named collections for later, and resend a saved request against whichever tab is currently active. • Schema detection — infers a TypeScript-style interface for an endpoint's response shape from every sample observed, marking inconsistently-present fields as optional. • Interactive JSON tree — expand/collapse, copy any value or its full path (res.data.items[0].id), full keyboard navigation, readable rendering of multi-line strings (like a GraphQL query) and JSON embedded inside a string field, plus a dedicated in-body search independent of the feed's own search. • Structured search — plain text, key:name exact-key lookup, or path.to.key == "value" dot-notation queries, with auto-expand and highlighting of matches, and Up/Down to move through results. • GraphQL-aware — identifies the operation being called (e.g. "GetUser") even for anonymous queries/mutations with no operation name, even though every GraphQL request shares one endpoint URL. • Edit & Replay — tweak a captured request's method, URL, headers, or body and resend it in its original tab (so cookies/session behave exactly as they would for the real page), with the response showing up live in the feed. • Export — one-click "Copy as cURL," a Postman Collection v2.1 export ready to import, a full HAR export of the visible feed (importable into Chrome DevTools or any HAR viewer), a PII-masked sanitized copy of the request/response for sharing with teammates, or a redacted plain-text prompt ready to paste into an AI chat for debugging help. • Filters — All / 2xx / 4xx-5xx / GraphQL / JSON-only / Slow (>1s) / Console errors. • Adjustable reading text size — Small/Medium/Large, for everyone who finds the default density too tight. • Six themes — System, Light, Dark, Slate, Coral, and Terminal — and safe handling of large payloads (capped and clearly marked as truncated, so huge responses never freeze the tab). Everything stays on your device — Packetpane makes no network requests of its own beyond what you explicitly trigger with Replay, Send, or Load Test, and sends nothing to any third party.
