ORIONMOD Clip Helper is the companion extension that powers the !clip chat command for Kick streamers. A viewer types !clip in chat, the clip is created in your browser, and the link lands in chat instantly. If you set it up, the same clip is forwarded to your Discord channel too. ── WHAT IT DOES ── Creating a clip requires the broadcaster's own session. ORIONMOD Clip Helper sends that request from your browser, so !clip works smoothly for your viewers. Add the extension to Chrome. 2. Sign in at orionmod.com and open Chat Bot → Clip Command. 3. Press "Connect extension". Pairing completes by itself — no token or code to enter. 4. Make sure you are signed in to Kick in the browser. 5. Go live and type !clip in chat to try it. You can also click the extension icon and choose "Open dashboard & auto-connect". ── HOW IT WORKS ── When !clip arrives in your chat, the bot creates a clip job. The extension picks it up, creates the clip in your browser and reports the result back; the bot then posts the link in chat. If no Kick tab is open, the extension opens a temporary one in the background, grabs the clip and closes it. Your own tabs are never touched and no page of yours is modified. ── FAQ ── Does my browser have to be open? Yes. The clip is created from your session, so the browser must be running. The window does not need to be focused and no Kick tab needs to be open — it works in the background. Do I have to keep a Kick tab open? No. The extension opens and closes one as needed. Does it work while I'm offline? No. Kick only allows clips on a live stream. Can I configure clip length? Yes. Default and maximum duration, who may clip, cooldown and daily limit are all set in the orionmod.com dashboard. Viewers can also request a length with !clip 60. How do I disconnect? Press "Disconnect" in the extension, or remove the device from the dashboard. A removed device stops working immediately. Can I use several computers? Yes. Pair each one; they all appear in the dashboard and can be removed individually. Does the extension read my chat?
