About OrgNav
OrgNav is a side panel that allows users to access Salesforce features without leaving the page they are on. It allows navigating to pages in an org, and saving these pages as tiles to quickly access later. Records can be x-rayed, showing field values and allowing edits. OrgNav can search across an org, showing a preview which can be diffed against other orgs, and results can be navigated to. Users can be logged in as directly from OrgNav. Easy Query allows point-and-click SOQL and SOSL querying, with advanced mode providing syntax highlighting, autocomplete and suggestions. Bundles store a ticket or unit of work’s context in the extension, saving metadata, links and notes. Anonymous Apex can be executed directly from the side panel, and logs can be monitored.
OrgNav is free, requires no account, and requires no OAuth.
Salesforce directly dictates user permissions.
Open the panel with the toolbar icon, clicking the OrgNav tab rendered on Salesforce pages, or using the shortcut Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+E.
PRIVACY
OrgNav has no server, no account and no analytics. Every request goes directly from your browser to your own Salesforce org, and nothing is sent to OrgNav or anyone else. Your settings, tiles and bundles are stored in your browser only.
Most of OrgNav is read-only. The features that change your org (editing a field, running anonymous Apex, capturing a debug log, Log in as) only act when you use them, and only within your own Salesforce permissions.
