About Optimism
Optimism automatically removes negative, distressing, and low-quality content from your YouTube feed — so you only see videos that inspire, educate, and entertain.
What it filters:
- Breaking news and major media outlets
- Violence, crime, and death
- Politics and scandal
- Disasters and crises
- Rage bait and clickbait
- Mental health triggers
- AI doomsday content
You're in control. Toggle any category on or off, add your own keywords to block, and mute specific channels entirely.
See something that slipped through? Hit the 🚩 flag next to any video title and leave a note. Your reports are reviewed weekly by an AI pipeline that automatically improves the filter for everyone.
Your feed. Your peace of mind.
