About OpsBrio — Cortex sync
An internal tool for the operations staff of Amazon Delivery Service Partner. It is not a consumer product.
Amazon gives Delivery Service Partners no data connection: there is no
API to call, and the dispatch feeds on logistics.amazon.com are signed
per request, so they cannot be fetched by a server. But those pages
produce the data perfectly well inside a browser that is already signed
in. This extension rides along in a dispatcher's own Chrome, takes a
copy of what the DSP operations portal has already shown them, and
posts it to their employer's own operations portal.
What it moves: dispatch routes and itineraries, the day's planned work,
weekly and daily performance figures for the company's own drivers,
vehicle inspection records and photographs, worked hours and breaks,
and the roster, fleet and hiring pipeline.
It never asks for, sees, stores or sends an Amazon password. It cannot
sign in to Amazon and has nothing to sign in with. There is nothing in
its storage but station codes, timestamps and a check-frequency
setting. If the Amazon session in that browser expires, the extension
stops and says so, and a person signs in on Amazon's own page as they
always would.
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no remotely-hosted code, and
no third party of any kind receives the data.
