Open External Links in New Tab

GitHub は、外部サイトへのリンクを同じタブで開きます。issue や pull request からドキュメントへのリンクをクリックすると、読んでいたページが置き換わり、戻って読んでいた場所を探し直すことになります。 この拡張機能は、そうしたリンクを新しいタブで開きます。issue や pull request は元のタブに残るので、リンク先を読んだあと、タブを切り替えるだけで戻れます。 できること • GitHub 以外のサイトへのリンクを新しいタブで開きます。ドキュメント、ブログ、パッケージのレジストリ、GitHub Pages のサイト（*.github.io）、*.githubusercontent.com 上のファイルなどが対象です。 • GitHub 内のリンク（github.com、gist.github.com、docs.github.com）は、これまでどおり同じタブで開きます。 • issue、pull request、discussion、README、コメント、wiki など、github.com のすべてのページで動きます。 • Ctrl・Cmd・Shift・Alt を押しながらのクリック、中クリック、ダウンロード用のリンクは、ブラウザ本来の動作のままです。 • 設定は不要です。インストールするだけで動きます。 プライバシー • 動作するのは github.com の上だけです。 • データの収集・保存・送信はせず、通信もしません。 • インストール時に「github.com 上にある自分のデータの読み取りと変更」と表示されます。この権限は、クリックされたリンクを確かめ、外部サイトへのリンクを新しいタブで開くためだけに使います。 --- GitHub opens links to other websites in the same tab. When you click a documentation link in an issue or a pull request, the page you were reading is replaced, and you have to go back and find your place again. This extension opens those links in a new tab instead. The issue or pull request stays where it was, so you can read the linked page and come back to it with one click. What it does • Links to sites outside GitHub open in a new tab: documentation, blogs, package registries, GitHub Pages sites (*.github.io), files hosted on *.githubusercontent.com, and so on. • Links within GitHub (github.com, gist.github.com, docs.github.com) keep opening in the same tab, as before. • Works on every page of github.com: issues, pull requests, discussions, README files, comments and wikis. • Ctrl/Cmd/Shift/Alt-clicks, middle clicks and download links keep their normal browser behaviour. • Nothing to configure. Install it and it works. Privacy • Runs only on github.com. • Collects, stores and sends no data, and makes no network requests. • When you install it, Chrome shows "Read and change your data on github.com". The extension uses this only to see which link you clicked and to open external links in a new tab.
