About ONYXx
ONYXx – AI-Powered Browser Assistant
ONYXx helps organizations apply security policies when using supported AI tools. It checks prompts and supported document uploads for sensitive information and security risks, then displays the service’s allow, warning, redaction, or blocking decisions according to your organization’s configuration.
Prompt Assistant provides grammar suggestions, rewrite options, shorter wording, and token estimates inside supported AI prompt editors. Built-in writing tools process text locally. Optional on-device AI requires a compatible device and model downloads.
The extension popup lets you register this browser and view recent prompt-security counts and decisions.
Setup requirements:
- Prompt protection requires registration with your name and work email, email-code verification, and consent to the data disclosure.
- Security checks require an internet connection, access to the ONYXx service, and an authorized account under your organization’s policy.
- Open a supported AI site, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, and reload existing tabs after installation or updates.
- Prompt Assistant asks for separate consent before providing local writing help.
