The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ON-AIR Meeting Trigger
Let your household know you're on a call, automatically. ON-AIR Meeting Trigger detects when Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom is open in your browser and sends a simple ON / OFF signal to the device of your choice: an ON AIR light, an LED sign, a smart plug or relay, a Home Assistant automation, a push notification, or any HTTP endpoint.
No accounts. No telemetry. Nothing leaves your network unless you point it somewhere.
HOW IT WORKS
Join a meeting → ON. Leave it → OFF.
Each change fires the targets you've configured. Trigger on any matching tab or only the active one, and add your own meeting URLs for other platforms.
OUTPUTS (MIX AND MATCH)
- HTTP Hook: GET / POST / PUT with custom headers and body, for smart plugs, relays, ESP32 devices and other HTTP-controlled hardware or services
- Listener URL: sends ON/OFF events to a local script or automation bridge
- Simple LED: for devices exposing /led/on and /led/off
HOME ASSISTANT
Toggle an input_boolean, run automations or drive an ON AIR indicator anywhere in your home. Authenticates with a Long-Lived Access Token you provide.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
Get an alert on your phone when a meeting starts or ends, via ntfy or any service that accepts an HTTP request. Handy for letting someone in another room know you've gone live.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No analytics, tracking or telemetry
- No data sent to the developer
- No network scanning
- Requests go only to the endpoints you configure
NOTE
Detects meetings running in the browser (web versions of Meet, Teams and Zoom). It does not detect the Teams or Zoom desktop apps.
