About Offline PDF Editor
Open, review and update PDFs without uploading them.
Offline PDF Editor gives you a private PDF workspace in a Chrome tab. Open a file from your computer, work on your document and download an updated copy when you're done.
Everyday PDF tools
• Read PDFs with page navigation, zoom and document search.
• Add highlights, sticky notes and drawing annotations.
• Rotate, reorder and remove pages.
• Add text to your document.
• Choose a light or dark workspace.
• Save your changes as a local PDF download.
Your documents stay on your device
Offline PDF Editor processes the PDFs you choose locally. It does not upload documents, send passwords or signatures to a server, or collect analytics. Preferences and saved tools are stored locally in Chrome. No account, advertising or access to your browsing history is required. The PDF workspace works offline after installation.
Get started
1. Click the Offline PDF Editor extension icon to open the workspace.
2. Open or drop a PDF from your computer.
3. Review, annotate or organize it, then choose Save to download your changes.
Offline PDF Editor opens in its own tab. For a PDF on a website, download it first and open that local file here. Save your changes before closing the tab.
