Odoo Migration X-Ray

Odoo Migration X-Ray helps you prepare a migration to Odoo 18 or 19. Open your Odoo 17, 18 or 19 database as an administrator, click the icon, and the extension reads the technical structure of the database in read-only mode: the installed modules and where they come from, the models and their fields, the views, the automated actions and the security configuration. It then compares what it found with the OpenUpgrade rules published by the Odoo Community Association and tells you what will break or change in the target version: fields that disappear or are renamed, obsolete models, parent views and groups that no longer exist, standard views edited directly in the database, modules that were renamed or merged. Each finding is rated blocking, to check or informational, and links to the record in Odoo so you can fix it before the upgrade. Around this core, the extension offers a few practical tools: a check of whether your community modules already exist for the target version, with the order in which to port them; a design view of the database schema with its relations, exportable as SQL creation scripts or as an image; an optional analysis of the source code of your own modules, opened from a local folder and processed entirely in the browser; saved scans that you can compare before and after the migration; and a migration plan you can hand to your team as a task list. Nothing leaves your browser: scans are stored locally and the database is never modified. The interface is available in French, English, German and Luxembourgish, with a dark mode.
