The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Nubint: AI Academic Writing Checker
Nubint is a review tool for people writing academic papers. It checks your
manuscript right where you are reading it, in a side panel.
■ Reference existence
We check each cited work against a scholarly index to see whether it is a paper
that actually exists. Drafts written with ChatGPT or Claude mix in references
that read well but cannot be found. Catch those before you submit.
■ AI writing detection
We point out passages that read as AI-written, paragraph by paragraph, so you
know where to edit without rereading the whole draft.
■ Source quality
We check whether you are citing retracted papers, preprints, or sources whose
journal cannot be confirmed.

■ Works on Overleaf
On an Overleaf project we fetch the project and read .tex together with .bib.
The editor only renders the lines on screen, so scraping the page loses whole
stretches of a long manuscript — we do not do that.
■ Where it works
Web pages, PDFs, and Overleaf. You can also review just a selection.
■ Languages
The extension follows your browser language: English, Korean, Japanese and
Chinese.
■ About permissions
We do not ask for access to every site at install. The moment you press
"Import this page", we request access to that one site.
■ Account
One connection is enough. Review runs on the Plus plan and above.
