NoteLayer for Gmail

Add private notes to Gmail conversations. Notes stored securely in your own Google Drive - no third-party servers, your information, your data, always. Updates: What’s new (v1.3.1) See notes at a glance and get a clearer, more reliable notes experience in Gmail. • Inbox indicators — Threads with notes show a “Note” marker in your inbox so you don’t have to open a message to know work was logged • Notes open when they matter — If a conversation already has notes, the panel expands automatically so nothing looks missing • Clearer collapsed state — When the panel is collapsed, a badge shows that notes exist • More reliable appearance — Fixes cases where the notes panel didn’t show until you left and reopened the email • Simpler, narrower permissions — Google Drive access now uses a hosted OAuth flow (no Chrome identity permission) Notes still save privately to your own Google Drive. v1.2.0 • Fixed notes bar not appearing with Gmail navigation arrows • Extended login session to 24 hours (less frequent re-authentication) • Improved email detection for better reliability • Performance optimizations
