About NoRush - ADHD Task Manager, To-Do List & Pomodoro Focus Timer
NoRush is a calm task manager built for ADHD brains. It turns your new tab into one simple question: what is the one thing you want to do right now? Then it helps you start, stay with it and finish, without the overwhelm of a long to-do list.
Made for people with ADHD, and for anyone who opens a to-do list and freezes.
WHY NORUSH IS DIFFERENT
• One task at a time. Your new tab shows a single "Right now" task, not a wall of 40 items.
• Time you can see. A focus timer ring empties as you work, so time blindness stops catching you out.
• Starting is the hard part. Begin with just 5 minutes, and break any big task into small steps.
• Gentle, never guilt. Kind reminders, no red overdue warnings, and no streak that breaks when you take a day off.
FOCUS
• Pomodoro focus timer: 25 minute rounds with 5 minute breaks, or any length you like
• Long tasks are split into rounds, with a short break offered in between
• "I'm stuck" help, Shuffle for a quick win, and a small reward to look forward to
• Focus sounds: rain, brown noise, white noise, forest, fireplace, cafe and lofi, made live in your browser
• Pause distracting websites: a calm screen brings you back to your task
PLAN
• A simple to-do list with Today and Later, and drag and drop between them
• Plan my day in two minutes, with finish times so you can see what actually fits
• A gentle note when Today holds more than a day can fit
• Brain dump anything into Later, so it stops circling in your head
STAY ON TRACK
• Gentle reminders every 15 minutes, 30 minutes or every hour (your choice)
• A small floating bubble on websites shows your current task and timer
• Meeting Mode: during video calls, reminders wait and your new tab becomes a quiet clock
• Close the day: a calm evening screen when your work day ends
• Your work days: on days off, NoRush rests too and suggests something nice to do instead
FEEL YOUR PROGRESS
• Collect a card for every finished task, level up and set a weekly goal
• See what you finished today, so "I did nothing" stops being the story
QUICK AND EVERYWHERE
• Quick capture from the toolbar (Alt+Shift+A) or the command bar (Alt+K)
• Type "do", a space and your task in the address bar to add it
• Light and dark mode
• Sign in with Google or email to save and sync your tasks across all your computers
BUILT ON RESEARCH
The design follows published research on ADHD, executive function, time perception and motivation. The studies are listed inside NoRush (Research, at the bottom of the new tab).
PRICING
• 7 day free trial with every feature. No sign-up and no card needed.
• Then NoRush Plus: $5 a month, $49 a year, or $99 once for lifetime access.
• After the trial your tasks stay saved, and you can always look at them and download them.
PRIVACY
Your tasks are stored in your browser. If you sign in, they are saved to your account so they sync across your devices. No ads, and your data is never sold.

PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN WORDS
• "Read and change data on all websites" lets the floating bubble appear on pages, notice when you join a video call, and pause distracting sites. NoRush only looks at a page's address, never at what is on the page.
• "Replace the page you see when opening a new tab" is where NoRush lives. If Chrome asks whether to keep the change, choose "Keep it".
NoRush is a productivity tool, not a medical treatment.
