Follow your system settings or choose an appearance for each website. Three appearance modes Choose System, Dark, or Light. Light mode also works on websites with a native dark appearance. Preferences saved per website Set your preferred appearance once. Noctra remembers it and keeps your open tabs in sync. Two convenient controls Change modes from the floating moon button or the popup behind Noctra’s pinned toolbar icon. Thoughtful color adjustments Noctra adjusts backgrounds, text, and borders individually, preserving accent colors and leaving images, videos, and canvas content unchanged. Smoother loading Early theme styling helps prevent bright flashes, while newly loaded page content is themed automatically. Keyboard support Navigate the controls with Tab, arrow keys, Enter, and Escape. Noctra runs locally in your browser. No account, analytics, or external data transmission. Your website preferences stay in local extension storage. Works on most standard websites. Browser settings pages, extension stores, and some complex website elements cannot be themed.
