Night Editor Theme — Dark Mode for Docs

Working late in Google Docs and tired of a blinding white page? Night Editor Theme turns docs.google.com into a comfortable, full-surface dark editor — no half-dark panels, no white flash on load, and clean output when you print. WHAT IT DOES - Applies a true dark theme across the entire Docs editing surface - Prevents the white flash while pages load - Keeps printing and exports print-safe (your pages stay white on paper) - Remembers your preference so it is on every time you open Docs - Works quietly in the background with no setup PRIVATE BY DESIGN - No account, no sign-in, no tracking - No network requests — nothing leaves your browser - Reads zero document text; it only restyles the page - Your preferences are stored locally on your device Permissions: - Storage: saves your theme on/off preference locally so the extension remembers your choice between sessions. - Alarms: schedules lightweight background timing so the theme reapplies reliably and stays in sync as Docs loads.
