About NGO Connect – VPN
The NGO Connect VPN, right in Chrome. One click and your browsing is encrypted all the way to our servers: on hotel, airport or café Wi-Fi, websites see the server’s address, never yours.
• One click to turn it on or off, from Chrome’s toolbar (ON badge).
• 8 servers on 6 continents: Paris, Amsterdam, Vilnius, New York, São Paulo, Johannesburg, Tokyo, Sydney.
• Automatic mode: the fastest server from where you are, measured for you.
• WebRTC kept inside the VPN: video calls don’t reveal your real address.
• Protection: sites known for malware or phishing are blocked.
• No logs: not your traffic, not your DNS requests, not the sites you visit. Before your first connection, the extension shows exactly what is kept.
• One NGO account and one subscription for Chrome, iPhone and Android.
• Your travel eSIMs one click away, in the NGO Connect web app.
How it works
Sign in with your NGO account (email, Google or Apple). The VPN needs an NGO Connect VPN subscription, taken in the app or on ngoconnect.app (3 days free for a first subscription). The connection between Chrome and the server is encrypted (TLS); https pages stay encrypted end to end.
Good to know
The extension protects Chrome’s traffic. Other apps on your computer stay outside the VPN. Incognito windows are protected if you allow the extension in Incognito.
Privacy
We keep your account email and your subscription. For the browser, nothing is registered on our servers: the extension gets a 24-hour pass, checked by its signature alone. We never sell or share VPN data.
